as of是美国英语中特有的用法，可以表示两个截然相反的时概念：
1.As of this writing
截至本文执笔时为止
as of yet"截止到现在为止"
As of 本来是个复合介词，如果后面加上yet，成为as of yet，就成了一个副词短语，意思是“截至到现在为止”。
如果谓语动词是被否定的，则as of yet与until now不同，并不表示现在刚刚发生了从否定变为肯定的变化，而是表示这个否定状态到了现在仍然保持，今后如何则不交代。
例
As of yet, no timetable has been set for construction.
直到现在为止，还没有定下新建的时间表。
另外一个俚语
