    17. cut somebody some slack: to give someone additional freedom eg. because it was the last day of the class, the teacher cut the students some slack

    18.dodon't give up your day job: used to tell somebody that you don't think they're very good at something eg. your drum solo was very entertaining. but don't give up your day job.

    20. easy does it: used to tell someone to do something carefully and slowly. eg. easy does it. don't spill that paint.
