What did I learn from The 4-Hour Workweek by Ferriss, Timothy (Part 1)

If you can free your time and location, your money is automatically worth 3–10 times as much.

Options—the ability to choose—is real power.

Capacity, interest, and mental endurance all wax and wane. Plan accordingly.

Focus on being productive instead of busy.

    Emphasize Strengths, Don’t Fix Weaknesses.
Don’t expect to find you’re doing everything right—the truth often hurts. The goal is to find your inefficiencies in order to eliminate them and to find your strengths so you can multiply them.

    80/20 principle

Slow down and remember this: Most things make no difference. Being busy is a form of laziness—lazy thinking and indiscriminate action.

    To think / find:

Who are the 20% customers that generate the 80% revenue?
What 20% of sources are causing 80% of my problems and unhappiness?
What 20% of sources are resulting in 80% of my desired outcome and happiness?

Parkinson’s Law indicates that a task will swelling (perceived) importance and complexity in relation to the time allotted for its completion.

There are two synergistic approaches for increasing productivity that are inversions of each other:

    - Limit tasks to the important to shorten work time (80/20).
    - Shorten work time to limit tasks to the important (Parkinson’s Law).

Learn to ask, “If this is the only thing I accomplish today, will I be satisfied with my day?”

Stop asking for opinions and start proposing solutions.
