I'm sorry to hear that you have such a depression. I can understand your pain because I had similar experience as you.
Never could I forget that I had once an unavoidable quarrel with another friend of mine because we held totally opposite opinions on where to travel in a vacation. However, our divisions (分歧) were healed finally with continuous effort. Let me tell you how.
Considering we are still friends, above all, we treated each other with mutual respect. For example, we stopped arguing and listened attentively to the other person. In addition, we tried to communicate truly in order to prevent misunderstanding between each other. Later, our friendship was rebuilt especially when I helped him with his trouble.
