规则一:辅音和元音连读。
连读就是把两个单词连起来一起读。当一个单词以辅音结尾时,并且跟在后面的单词以元音开头时,我们可以把这些单词连读。也就是最后一个辅音跟开头的元音连读。
连读并不意味着语速快。连读要记得重读的概念。分组间不用连读。
两个辅音的连读。两个辅音一样时,我们只发一次音。
likes swimming=likeswimming
bill likes swimming=bilikeswimming
stop practicing=stopracticing
next time=nextime
wish she=wishe
bad day=baday
nine nails=ninails (e 不发音)

规则二:两个辅音连读。
把具有相同发音点的辅音连读。发音点=发音的接触点。
比如p 和b 都有相同的发音的,两个都需要嘴唇合拢,puh&buh。同理,t和d发音tuh&duh。

还有一点,当辅音的发音是停顿时,跟着另外一个辅音,尽管发音点和前面的不一样,确保你要保留第一个元音连起来读,比如,a back door,不要释放kuh 的音(保留住),要读成backdoor。

规则三:元音与元音连读
当一个单词以元音结尾,后面跟着的单词以元音开头时,我们要连读。
也有不得不连读的情况。比如:
see it,元音e+元音i,我们加入一个y的读音yuh,读成seeyit,所以i结尾的发音,都要发成yuh。
who is,元音o+元音i,我们加入一个w的读音wuh,读成whowis。/u//ou/都发wuh的音。
