Hangzhou is the capital city of Zhejiang Province which located in the southeast coast of China. It is one of the seven capitals of ancient China and sited in the southern end of the Beijing---Hangzhou Grand Canal, the longest canal ever built all over the world. As a city with high vegetation coverage, people can feel green in hangzhou all the year round, even in the cold winter.
When the willow grows its first bud and the peach blossom opens the first petal, Hangzhou is entering a period of rebirth. For that time on, "green" becomes the best supporting role. Before the festival of Qing Ming, the local people begin to pick the Preming tea. Finally, people start to pay attention to the overwhelming greenery.
WechatIMG4.jpegIn morning of this season, I like to take a bus to Tianzhu Road nearby, escaping from the noise. There are two temples nearby the Tianzhu Road--- the Fa Xi Temple and the Fa Shan Temple. Unlike the worldwide famous Ling Yin Temple, most of the people here are localite. We used to making a pray here, whether we believe in Buddhism or not.
WechatIMG5.jpegWalking along the Tianzhu Road and step up the stairs at the intersection, there is the most famous hiking route in Hangzhou -- Shi Li Lang Dang. This route has always been my favorite one, because it leads to Long Jing mountain village. At the commanding heights near the Northern Peak, the tea garden was in a full view.
WechatIMG3.jpegThere are many roads down from the mountain. If you feel tired you can get down from the mountain at anytime and take a bus route back to the city. I like to go down from Jiu Xi Yan Cun (nine creeks meandering through at misty forest), in order to catch a glimpse of the lake.
WechatIMG15.jpegWhen it comes to summer, the flowers gradually dispersed and "green" comes onto the stage. When you walk in any scenic spot, even on the ordinary road, you can see the juicy green.

There is a good view in both Long bridge and Xi Ling Seal-Engravers’ Society.

As a tourist city, there are a lot of youth hostels or homelands near the West Lake, hiding in this winding path.
WechatIMG12.jpegWe are tired of see the green. Are there any colors among the city during summer time? If you have such concerns, you are absolutely wrong. After all, a poet called Yang Wanli once wrote a poem about it.
