In the Winter, there's little green plants. The delicate flowers have long been exhausted and the winter jasmine has not yet opened. Since that, the plum blossom automatically becomes a piece of color that citizens in Hangzhou eagerly await.
After the first heavy snow falls, the residents in Hangzhou or tourists will certainly go to the Broken Bridge, which records the love legend of White Lady and Xu xian. Besides, most of the people like to go to the Gu Mountain to appreciate the plum blossom.

在鲜有绿意的严冬，娇嫩的花朵早已落尽而迎春还未开放，梅花自然是杭城百姓翘首以待的一抹色彩。在第一场大雪落下以后，杭城的百姓或是来杭的游客，除了去演绎了白娘子和许仙凄婉爱情的断桥以外，最是喜欢到孤山来赏梅。

Sometimes, plum blossom viewing period in Gu Mountain will everlasting for nearly three months, which will meet the needs of citizens and tourists.
孤山的梅花大约有500多株，近年来园林部门还种植了不少名贵品种。早梅一般在冬至前开花，晚梅则可以开到清明前后，有时孤山的观花期将近三个月之久。
