绘本讲师训练营[15期]9/21之《DOWN By THE BA

今天分享的绘本故事是《Down By The Bay 》Illustrated by Nadine Bernard Westcott.全书带封面共八开十六页，整个故事的画面色彩都很柔和温馨，每一开两页就体现一个生活场景，就简单两句话，这也给读者留下很多的遐想空间和思考的余地。从故事来篇到结尾的语言虽然看似朴实，但却不缺乏幽默感，很耐人寻味，每句话以孩子的口吻来写的，同时也充满了童真的感觉。个人觉得这本书成人孩子可共读。现将原文抄写如下：

Down by the way, where the watermelons grow, Back to my home I dare not go.

For if I do my mother will say,

"Did you ever see a goose kissing a moose, Down by the way?"

For if I do my mother will say.

"Did you ever see a whale with a polka-dot tail, Down by the bay?"

Down by the bay, where the watermelons grow, Back to my home I dare not go,

For if I do mother will say,

"Did you ever see a fly wearing a tie, Down by the way?"

Down by the bay, where the watermelons grow, Back to my home I dare not go.

For if I do my mother will say,

"Did you ever see a bear combing his hair, Down by the bay?"

Down by the bay, where the watermelons grow, Back to my home I dare not go.

For if I do my mother will say,

"Did you ever see llamas eating their pajamas, Down by the bay?"
