Plant

Warehouse Number
Is an alphanumeric key that identifies a complex, physical warehouse within the Warehouse Management system (WMS). In one warehouse different types of materials may be stored (e.g. Components, Semi-FG materials, FG, ext. warehouse). The warehouse number is maintained in the ERP system as well as in the EWM system with a 1:1 relation. Typically one Warehouse number per plant. Under certain circumstances further numbers needed for external warehouses

Storage location

Stock types 不同于MM里的
The stock type is an attribute of a stock quantity in the warehouse. It defines the quality of a stock in the warehouse. For example, this quality can be unrestricted-use, in quality inspection, or blocked. Each of the stock types indicates whether/how the material concerned can currently be used. SAP Standard for storage location independent stock types:
 Unrestricted-use Stock (FF)
 Quality inspection Stock (QQ)
 Blocked Stock (BB)
 Returns Blocked Stock (RR)

Storage Types
A storage type is a physical place (e.g. rack, bulk storage, staging area) where material can be stored. Because a storage type represents a dedicated area, it has a 1 to 1 link to a Storage Location (Availability Group).

Work center
The work center is a physical unit in the warehouse, in which you can perform warehouse activities such as picking, distribution or weighing. The work center is maintained in the EWM environment and is related to a storage type (physical location)

Storage Bin
The smallest spatial unit in a warehouse and therefore represents the exact position in the warehouse where products can be / are stored. They are unique within one warehouse number. A storage bin in ERP has 10 characters, while in EWM it has 18 characters

Storage Section

Doors
It is a location in the warehouse where the goods arrive at or leave the warehouse. The door is an organizational unit that you assign to the warehouse number.

Activity Areas
Logical area of the warehouse, which groups storage bins together with regards to specific warehouse activities for each warehouse number (e.g. put-away, picking and physical inventory).
Use storage type no. For AA that is used for the complete Stype (1:1 relationship between storage type and activity area) For activity areas containing several storage types:
