I prefer traveling alone. I enjoy the freedom of doing what I want without worrying about others. I like to make my own decisions, make my own plans and don't have to make compromises while exploring new places and cultures.

Traveling with a small group of 4 people is ideal for me, but not a large one. You know how it goes with a large group of people around; you never get out the door on time.

It depends where I'm going. I feel fine traveling in the US — my home country — by myself, but in China I like to have a friend nearby in case my language skills aren't good enough or something like that. Two brains are better than one in that kind of situation.

It’s a really hard question to answer. Given the circumstances, I try to choose what is more suitable. Finding the right group to travel with is so important! Traveling with friends is not always a good idea. Often very good friends or close family are not necessarily good travel partners.
