Against the verdant background, the blooming flower of Aquilegia immediately stands out. The combination of dark purple and white conveys elegance as well as purity. Small clusters of yellow stamens in the middle soften the image and make it even more adorable.

Below the one in full blossom are three others shying away from the camera. One of them resembles a long pleating skirt with its white edge stretching slightly outward.  The white peripheral, seemingly transparent, lift up the whole flower,  like the feather of the bird enabling it to float in the air.  Though the time for these flowers are yet to come, their multi-layered petals already carry an aura of wholesomeness.
