In America, there aren't just burgers and fries, there are native traditions and unique cooking styles. It is also one of the most food dense areas in the world, where you can literally have lunch for a couple of bucks. So we arrive on the east coast (well at least that's the closest area from New Zealand) in San Deigo, California and straight away we are hit by the freshness of the vegetables and fruit. For breakfast, you can have delicious granola and fruit parfait or a classic buffet style sausage breakfast. All along the streets of the city are restaurants bound to fill you up with energy for the day.

Firstly, you can never go wrong with a classic doubles cheeseburger with fries and a drink. You might ask the difference between your local cheeseburger and the ones in California. The sheer amount of meat juices and juice retainment the meat has is incredible and is a massive difference.
