我可以摸摸你的头发吗？

嗨，Brandon来了。
“我可以摸摸你的头发吗？”许多黑人以前都听过这句话。

你在新国家旅行（有时自己国家）的时候。
你在准备一个新旅程的时候。
你正准备交新朋友的时候
……
突然，你发现有人在摸你的头，
“哇，手感像羊毛一样”

这不是在动物园！我是人！摸我之前请问我！

也许你听起来有些直接粗暴，但是你愿意让一个陌生人未经许可就摸你的脸吗？
不会，对吧？
就像你的脸，你的头发也代表你。
都是圣地啊！

但是

也是因为这个，我打算和Homey Hostel办一个头发沙龙，本周二，也就是今天，在Facebook直播有人替我洗头，还要按摩爽到天。

我要挤满泡泡，一层层楼走上去，会问你：“你可以摸摸我的头发吗”

笔者注：反正我觉得略奇怪，都摸你是要满足我们好奇心吗。
应该是所有人都挤满泡泡，互相按，感受一下外国人被摸头的感觉。

"Can I touch your hair?"
Most black people have heard this question before.

You are traveling in a new country (sometimes in your own home country).

You are ready for new adventures.

Ready to meet new people and make new friends. Then suddenly…

You feel fingers on your head.

“Wow. It feels like wool!”

This is not a zoo. I am a person. Ask before touching me.

That might sound direct and forceful to you.

But would you let a stranger touch your face without asking?

No, right? Just like your face, your hair represents you.

It’s holy ground.

But, this is the exact reason I partnered with Homey Hostel to show you a Taiwanese hair salon experience.

I will show you live on Facebook this Tuesday, 3/20 what it feels like to have someone wash my hair and message me to the heavens.

This is not normal.

When I’m in Asia, I’m used to people stretching out their fingers to touch my hair.

Even though I'm Jamaican-Chinese, it doesn't matter.

Because most people in Asia have never seen a black person or foreigner in their lives.

That's why on Tuesday, I will be swimming in sweet shampoo all the way up the stairs to heaven.

So that you, too, can know how it feels from a foreigner's perspective. This time, I will be asking...
