A man made efforts to survive in the actic. Even face of unknown future, he didn't give up an injured stranger, which showed human goodness.

2、Find three points that most touching or what you think is the most important details(conversation、picture or plot).

A/ In order to save the injured lady, the man tried all his best. He even had to change a further way to camp, because of a steep hill, he couldn't pulled the lady up to the top of the hill. Another way means more dangers, like no food, polar bear and unpredictable difficulties. But the man still make his decision.

B/ He fell into a hole and broke his leg. Before that, he decided to give up the lady. And he believed this accident is the punishment of dropping the lady. No matter what, the lady's husband died because of trying to save him. Dropping the lady means death to her. In that severe circumstances, that's really a hard decision to make.

C/In the end, the man saw a helicopter, he used the last saving fire bar, and even fired his coat to attract the attention. However, the helicopter flied away. I can feel the desperation, even he said it's okay to the lady. Then he hold her hand and lied down waiting for the death to come. The helicopter stopped by their side at this moment. This is a open ending, we have no idea, they were saved or not, it's a real helicopter or just the man imagined. I hope they are rescued.

Persistance leads to success. Be wise and grateful.

4、The background of the story.

A man survived alone in a plane crash. Everyday he caught fish, made sos on the snow, tried to connect people with wireless signal. Until one day a helicopter found him, but crashed also. The pilote died, a passenger got hurt on the tummy badly. The man took the injured passenger to the nearest camp, it was a long way. Many things happened on their way.
