Gone with the wind, was published in1936 and won Puliter Ptize in 1937. It was the only book that Margeret Mitchell published in her life time, but it became one of the best selling American novels. It is not only a great love story, but also one of the most powerful anti-war novels.

Maybe many of you have watched the film or read the book. The main character of the film, a southern belle , Scalett O'Hara spends her young maiden years. She barely notices and doesn't care anything apart from ball or outing though the country is on the verge of civil war. Her biggest obsseionis that she is in love with Ashley Wilkes, but Ashley does not have any interest in her.

In Chinese tradition, it is not common to see a girl hanker after a boy. Because most of the girls are taught to be conservative and restrained. Fortunately, at present, more and more girls can be brave enough to express their feelings and enjoy more freedom. This is really a progressive manifestation of liberation of human nature.
在中国传统上，女孩子追男孩子是很少见的，因为女孩子总被教导要矜持、内敛。但现在越来越多的女孩子能勇敢地表达自己的感情，也获得了更多的自由。这是人的天性的解放的进步表现。

By the way, it is hard to be totally understood by others if we are tought to be conservative and restrained. We always say that don't judge a person by his appreance but most of time we didn't do like this. It is human nature that we all like the beauty. In this way, dressing up properly is always right.
顺便说说，如果我们总是被教导要矜持内敛是很难被别人了解的，我们说不要以貌取人，但我们并不是如此做的。喜欢美好的事物是人的天性，既然如此，恰到好处地着装打扮总是对的。

About Something Value

Especailly for the people who are in the war can realize it truely. Similarly, when we are on the verge of losing something or even lost, we will realize how important it is, such as the families you care, health etc. Providing that we can cherish it when we are in possesion, and it must be better than we regret after losing it.
特别是处于战争中的人民能更真切地感受到。同样的，当我们即将失去或者已经失去什么，才会意识到它的重要，就像家人、健康等等。如果我们在拥有的时候就懂得珍惜，那一定比失去后再悔恨好一点。
It is, in fact, nothing but one kind of lifestyle no matter how you live, but it depends on you what kind of lifestyle you want to have.
事实上，不管你怎样生活都不过是一种生活方式，但你想要拥有什么样的生活方式由你决定。
