    Hello from Amazon Advertiser Support,

    I understand that you wish to know that business report sessions includes advertising traffic and regarding clicks as well.

    I would like to inform you that the business reports in seller central records only the organic traffic and the advertising reports records only data exclusive to advertising traffic and hence both reports are recorded and updated independently and are not related to each other. This is because the Business reports and the advertising reports are drawing their data from different sources and at different times.

    It is not recommended to use the Business reports to manage your campaigns nor your order transactions. The Business reports are used to show trends in sales, visits etc over a period of time which is limited to organic search and does not track clicks or impressions from advertising.

    Even for the advertising through sponsored campaigns, we always direct sellers to refer to advertising reports and not business reports as business reports only includes the data of organic search.

    Business Reports provides valuable data of your selling activity in order to help you make the best decisions for your business.

    Please note that the information provided in Business Reports is updated on a more frequent schedule than comparable reports available in Seller Central. At times there may appear to be discrepancies between your Business Reports and reports from other tools in Seller Central, this can be accounted for in the different times during which data is collected. If you are presented with this issue, please refer to the Business Reports Glossary below to determine how frequently the data point in question is updated and keep in mind that the Business Reports provide the most up-to-date information.

    Regarding the sessions in your business reports and the clicks on ads for Sponsored products. Please verify the below for more information on sessions and clicks.

    Session: The session is calculated per day, for example: if a customer X visits the website through their Login ID and checks the product's page at the early hours of the day, this is 1 session. If the same customer X visits the page again in the latter part of the day, this will not be counted as a session as the session for that day has already been calculated and if the same X customer is visiting the page again for another 10 times the same day, it would not be considered as a session for the rest of the day.

    Click: A click is only considered for the Sponsored products ads and not the organic search results.

    The clicks are only those that have been accrued on the Sponsored products ads. As such you will notice a difference in the sessions and clicks in the business reports.

    We would suggest you to not compare the data for Sponsored products and the organic search results. For information on Sponsored product ads, you can refer the Ad reports and for the organic search results, you can verify the business reports.
