什么？“掌掴”和“鲜肉”能与关税联系起来？

   11月26日 New York Post出新闻，标题是“Trump threatens additional tariffs on Chinese goods”，不用说，老美还是唱的老调---加加加，给我们加关税。

  不过，我们今天要探讨的是两个词，一是“slap”，二是“fresh”。

  “slap”大家日常用的不多，不多就对了，“slap”是个颇有动感和暴力的词汇，让我们看一下牛津词典中“slap”的三个含义：

    1. to hit sb/sth with the flat part of yourhand（打，掌掴）；2. to put sth on a surface in a quick, careless and often noisy way, especially because you are angry（尤指生气地啪的一声放下，随意扔放）；3. to hit against sth with the noise of sb being slapped（啪的击打）

    有没有不寒而栗？感觉这个词天生就是为负能量而生的。

    我们今天探讨的第二个词是“fresh”，如果你连这个词都不认识，那你就白白喜欢小鲜肉了，小鲜肉就是“fresh meat”，很新鲜的肉肉。

    让我们再回来看看文章的句子：

    President Donald Trump threatened toescalate（逐步增强） the trade war with China by slapping fresh tariffs on all the country's goods.

    看到没有，新闻记者的“slap”是不是把老特的心态描写的绘声绘色？另外，“fresh tariff”新鲜关税的血鲜味有没有嗅到？
