我住长江头，君住长江尾。
I live at the head of the Yangtze River,and you live at its end.
日日思君不见君，共饮长江水。
Every day I miss you,unable to see you,though we drink the same water of the River.
此水几时休，此恨何时已。
When will the water stop flowing,and when will the regret come to an end.
只愿君心似我心，定不负相思意。
I hope your mind is the same as mine,
And I will certainly live up to your yearning for me.
【注释】
1）思：想念，思念。
2）休：停止。
3）已：完结，停止。
【白话译文】
我住在长江之源，你住在长江之尾。
天天想念你却见不到你，你我毕竟同饮长江之水哦。
江水何时不再流动？这份离恨何时才能止息？只希望你的心如同我的心，我一定不会辜负你的相思之意。
