Lesson28(2) Five pounds too dear
The next man to approach me was selling expensive pens and watches. I examined one of the pens closely. It certainly looked genuine. At the base of the gold cap, the words 'made in the U.S.A.' had been neatly inscribed. The man said that the pen was worth $50, but as a special favour, he would let me have it for $30. I shook my head and held up a finger indicating that I was willing to pay $5. Gesticulating wildly, the man acted as if he found my offer outrageous, but he eventually reduced the price to $10. Shrugging my shoulders, I began to walk away when, a moment later, he ran after me and thrust the pen into my hands. Though he kept throwing up his arms in despair, he readily accepted the $5 I gave him. I felt especially pleased with my wonderful bargain--until I got back to the ship. No matter how hard I tried, it was impossible to fill this beautiful pen with ink and to this day it has never written a single word!

练习感悟：
今天群里有人评价我读的不熟练，回听了一遍，发现是因为我模仿的不到位，特别是gesticulating, until的口吻，我想模仿拉长读，结果听上去很像把一个单词读断了，卡壳了。
嗯，因为我的鼻子堵了，不通气，哈哈。
当然，最重要的是，确实不够熟练，因为今天读的时候也确实带了厌烦的情绪。

今天的复述也是做得不够好，逼着自己做完笔记马上开口说，一路卡壳，这种感觉也是印象深刻了，不逼自己一把确实不行，永远在舒适区，温水煮青蛙似的，还以为很舒服，结果怎么死的都不知道。。。
先正语音，学习音标，然后养成朗读习惯，最后梳理文章，复述。从最基础的学起，一步步来，带脑练习加上不断地反思，自我或是他人的反馈，在此基础上改进，不断改进。
路还长，可以慢跑，但是要想办法越跑越快，否则，把时间熬没了，也算完。
