Never let me go.

Days I’ve nothing to be happy about I swear he’d turn the world upside down to make me smile. He makes me feel so safe, so secure, his distant arms holding my virtual self when we cannot hold each other physically. He’s that kiss that makes my furrowed forehead smooth and soft; he’s that cool breeze calming hot summer skin. He’s the breath that leaves me breathless and the gale-force wind that takes me away. He’s the air that keeps my flame burning, ever burning a path into his heart. I tell him all of this; I tell him things which he already knows. I drew a map and marked the route from his heart to mine; it was a single point. I keep falling but truth is I’ve already hit rock bottom and all I know is flight. In his arms I’ll tell him so and we will rise as burning Phoenixes and merge into each other and explode.
