I know that I am a intelligent person, but a little lack of confidence. I never exaggerate, just promise the things which I certainly be able to do. No matter in work or in life, I have been keeping mature and steady. Because of this, sometimes I missed some opportunities.
But some people around me are not as low key as I am, they are very arrogant. They always say that they are so excellent that they can do a lot of things, but indeed, they can just do a little. However, because of this, they can catch a lot of opportuntities.
The weakness in my character is that I always have lack of confidence although I have the ability to do a lot of things. But the people which I discribe in the last paragraph have a strong self-confidence even though most of the time they just brag.
Every character has its own advantages, what I should do is that taking other's good point to make up my own shortcomings.But I also should notice that moderation in all things, because too much is as bad as too little.
The year before last year, in the process of writing my master thesis, my advisor told me that she could see that I am a capable student, but a little lack of confidence. She suggested me that being more confidence, thinking of myself as a expert in this field and expressing my opinions in a generous decent way when I attend the defense of graduation thesis.
My advisor has helped me a lot in mental field, I always encourage myself with the insturction in my life.
Be a decent person, that is what I am trying to be.
