今天咱们就来看一看类似阻挡犯规，在NBA中是如何界定的。
第一种情况
Blocking, Secondary defender does not allow airborne offensive player room to land
This is an example of a defensive foul for blocking. Defenders positioned inside the Lower Defensive Box must allow airborne offensive players catching the ball the opportunity to land without contact. The Lower Defensive Box is the area from the bottom tip of free throw circle to the 3′ posted up marks. The defender on this play does not allow the offensive player the room to land after receiving the ball, and this is a blocking foul.

第二种情况和第一种情况类似，只有些许不同。
Blocking in transition, defender does not give opponent opportunity to land and to stop/change direction
This is an example of a defensive foul for blocking. Defenders positioned outside the Lower Defensive Box must allow airborne offensive players catching the ball the opportunity to land, and then stop, or change direction prior to contact. On this play, the defensive player does not allow the offensive player who is receiving the ball the opportunity to stop or change direction after he catches the ball, and therefore, and this is a blocking foul.
大致意思是——这是一个因为阻挡被吹防守犯规的例子。在低位防守区的球员必须给接球球员留出合理的落地空间，在其接球落地之前不能与之发生身体接触。很显然， 视频当中的防守球员是防守犯规了。
首先从规则上来看，有两个关键点，一是要给被防守球员留出合理的落地空间；二是在被防守球员落地之前不能与其发生肢体接触。如果单从这两点来看，虽然乐福跳起的方向不是面向莫里斯，是平衡于莫里斯，不但和莫里斯之间有一定的空间，根据滑行的轨迹，落地时也肯定在莫里斯的侧面，莫里斯肯定有合理的落地空间，可是，乐福还是和莫里斯发生了身体接触，乐福肯定是防守犯规了。
但是，大家看慢镜头回放时不难发现，莫里斯有一个伸腿勾脚的动作，也就是这个动作，触发了米勒法则，雷吉米勒法则于NBA2012-2013赛季前夕出台，在NBA联盟里，射手为了对付那些贴身紧防的高手，往往会在投篮时"故意伸腿制造犯规"，曾经的篮球运动员雷吉·米勒就非常擅长使用这一招。米勒法则出台以后，很多人因此被吹罚进攻犯规，2014年11月21日，湖人客战独行侠，林书豪在和莫里斯几乎相同的位置出手三分，结果被飞身扑来的贾米尔-尼尔森放倒，但裁判却指向林书豪。
