edge=边缘, 刀刃
-If you get too close to a cliff’s edge, you might fall off it.

edgy=像刀刃一样锐利伤人的, 或者是像在边缘马上要掉下去所以很紧张很烦躁的
-in a bad mood because you are worried or nervous
-I'm feeling a little edgy about the exam tomorrow.

1 And I, and you know, at first, those, those, those comments were just simple thank-yous.
2 And I thought that was a pretty big deal.
3 I don't know how much time you all spend on YouTube.
4 Most of the comments are not "Thank you."
5 They're a little edgier than that.
6 But then the comments got a little bit more intense, you know, student after student saying that they had grown up not liking math.
7 It was getting difficult as they got into more advanced math topics.
8 By the time they got to algebra, they had so many gaps in their knowledge they just couldn't engage with it.
9 And they thought they didn't have the math gene.
10 But when they were a little bit older, they took a little bit of agency and they decided to engage.
11 They found resources like Khan Academy and they were able to fill in those gaps and master those concepts,
12 and that reinforced their mindset that, that it wasn't fixed;
13 that they actually were capable of, of learning mathematics.
