A young couple had recently moved in across the street from another couple.

The second morning after their arrival as the young couple sat down for breakfast. The wife noticed their new neighbor outside washing clothes.

She told her husband those clothes don’t seem to be getting clean, maybe our neighbor doesn’t know how to wash them properly, perhaps she could use a better laundry detergent. The husband glanced at his wife but remained silent and so it went.

Each time the neighbor did laundry the young wife make some comment.

About a month later, the young wife was astonished to see a clean piece of clothing hanging on the neighbor’s clothes line. Excitedly she exclaimed to her husband:“look she’s learned how to wash clothes I wonder who taught her.Her husband responded:” I got up early this morning and cleaned our windows.”

Before passing judgment it’s essential to examine our objectivity and ability to see the positive aspects of others rather than just pin pointing problems and passing judgment.

So, be sure to clean your windows before concluding.
