Sweet Memory

When we were young we always thought                               

Far away from our hometown will be cool

Finally, I left my hometown

Being away from my hometown for so long

Sometimes I feel tearful because I miss my birthplace

 Hometown’s mountain,river and lake

All the memories still fresh

Everything looks like yesterday

In spring, I walk in the park

Blue sky and white clouds

I remember under the sun butterflies all over the grass

Many birds standing on the trees sing

The breath of fresh air makes me want to sing too

My song far away in the sky can resound

Beautiful landscape covered by the sun rise and sundown

Green land wakes up and sleeps in the water

Breezy and warm wind blowing onshore

 I can feel slight breeze brushes my face

Many kind flowers gently swaying in the breeze

So many willow trees line up stood around the lake,

The willow trees’ branches dance in the wind.

Also they graze the surface of the water.

Wind blowing the willows, the trees wave to say hi to me.

It was so much fun in the summer time

When school is over

I jump in the lake swimming every day

The shade of willow in the rippled lake

Many smiling faces up and down in the green waves

Children play in the water with cheerful chatting and laughing

Clear water, I could see little shrimp and fish touch me

On summer evenings, I yelled and run try to catch the dragonflies

All kind colors of the lotus blooming in lake

The frogs jump on top lotus leaves then back into the water

Also, I like use the bottle to put baby frogs in,

Baby frog’s cool looks make me so happy

We swimming and pick up the lotus seed for snack

Also, we play with baby frogs in the lake

So many fun things we can play in the lake

This dream place could stay with me forever.

Fall, all the mountain, trees and grass turning colors

Open my eyes to see view of the park

Amazing picture looks like oil painting

Winter time everything changes to white

Wonderful place always stay in my heart.
