Sometimes my heart is filled with glee,
Sometimes it sinks in melancholy.
Happiness is but a fleeting spree,
For sorrow follows with sheer folly.
Yet, I must confess and concede,
That some beings are born to thrive.
Like these feline creatures, indeed,
Content and joyous in their lives.
Their purrs and play, a sight to behold,
Their carefree spirit, a lesson to be told.
So I'll take a cue from these cats so bold,
And cherish the moments that never grow old.
