今天降温了，外面下着雨，电脑没有电。

索性继续来看俚语词典吧。

1. daylight robbery

Cost of that salad was daylight robbery.

“大白天抢劫”，用来形容漫天要价，敲竹杠。

2. dead air

A sudden and undesirable silence.

最怕空气突然安静……

3. dead to the world

Fast asleep or drunk, especially stuporous from a drink

形容睡得很沉，或是醉得不省人事，就像已“不在人世”了一样。

4. deadwood

废柴（可指物也可指人）

5. Dear-John Letter

A letter or other means of informing of a fiancé, spouse, boyfriends etc, that one is breaking of the relationship.

分手信（女方写给男方的）
