A hallmark of the postmodern society in which we live is multilateralism and decentralization. Take self-publishing and self-media, for example. Anyone can instantly publish their articles, images, audio and video files online, which used to be the privilege of the professional or social elite. It is therefore said that we live in an era of post-truth. In other words, with so many and even conflicting voices, it is difficult or impossible for us to find out the truth. On the one hand, truth is illusory, slippery or unfathomable; on the other hand, different people have different truths due to differences in their cultures, perceptions, statuses, interests, limitations, and so on.

With truth being so unstable and relative, people are caught in confusion and conflicts are increasingly inevitable. Look at the chaos that people have created on the surface of the earth.

Yet, truth is so important to humankind. Across time and space, writers, artists, and philosophers have agreed that human beings are ultimately attracted to truth, goodness, and beauty, which form the trio that emerges as the meaning of human endeavour from ancient times to the present.

What on earth is truth? How can it be true that everyone has their own truth?
Leo Guru's lecture "What is truth?- The Definitive Answer" completely unravels these mysteries. According to him, truth is defined as "the entirety of being", "what it is", "that is the case" or "the direct experience of each". For example, 1+1=3. Is this true? Yes, because it is what we see directly. In the sense of being, it is definitely true because it is there in front of our eyes, and can be seen directly. Metaphorically, I can also think of the example that a man and a woman together can produce a baby, that is, the combination of two ends up in three ━ two parents and a child.
This wise definition of truth also sheds light on the philosophical saying "loving what it is," which simply means "loving the truth," “loving the reality,” "accepting your existence," and "appreciating whatever life throws at you, good or bad." This is the right attitude for human survival.
