It's getting late, two kids went to bed, Katie is laying on the couch, waiting for Alex, but she fall alseep soon, suddenly she hear Jo's voice, waking her up, asking if she smell the smoke, she doesn't know why Jo's there, and finally she wakes up, saw the smoke and fire everywhere, she freak out, wake up two kids, protecting them to leave, that's when she saw her nightmare, she saw Kevin.
She knew she has to make sacrifice, she dragged him and ask two kids to leave, Alex came back, he tried to help Katie while got hit by Kevin, luckily, Katie got Kevin's gun and she pulled the trigger, the world become quite.. finally..
When Alex getting better, he handover Katie a letter written by his wife, with tears in eyes, Katie suddenly find out her best friend Jo is actually Alex's wife, who has already dead, she couldn't belive it, she still remember they drink beers and share stories, all the coversation are so vivid.
In the end of the letter, Jo said, if Alex has chosen you, then I want you to believe that I have chosen you as well. Katie smiled, knowing it wasn't an illusion or a figment of her imagination, she believe what she believed.
