名词的泛指：

第一类：
不可数名词

例：
Ice cream is delicious.
Life is hard.

第二类：
复数名词

例：
Books help you to learn.
Banana are yellow.
Tigers are dangerous animals.

第三类：
the+单数名词

例：
The tiger is a dangerous animal.
The elephant is the largest land mammal.

第四类：
a/an+单数名词

例：
A tiger is a dangerous animal.
A teacher should be patient.

名词的特指：the+名词

用法一：表示有名的东西

例：
YaoMing,the famous basketball player.
My name is Jackie Chan,not the Jackie Chan.

用法二：一般常识

例：
the sun
the earth
the sky
the universe
the president

用法三：特定情境双方的共识

例：
Let's go to the library.
Shut the door,please.
Where is the dessert. ---> Sorry,I ate it.

用法四：上下文中的特指

例：
I had an apple a banana.I ate the apple and I gave the banana to my sister.
I went to Beijing last week.The traffic is awful.
