'These are very good cakes, Miss Cuthbert,' Mr Allan said to Marilla 'You have been busy.'
“蛋糕看上去很不错，卡斯伯特小姐。”阿伦太太对玛丽拉说，“把您忙坏了吧？”
'Anne made this one, special for you. Mrs Allan' replied Marilla.
“这蛋糕是安妮特意为您做的，阿伦太太。”玛丽拉回答道。
'Well, I must try some', laughed the vicar's wife. But after the first mouthful there was a very strange look on her face.
“哦，是吗？我一定要尝尝。”牧师太太笑道，但当她尝了一口之后，脸上出现了一种奇怪的表情。
'Is anything wrong?' asked Marilla. She ate a piece of Anne's cake herself. 'Oh, Anne! What have you put in this cake?' she cried.
“有什么不妥吗？”玛丽拉问。她自己也吃了一块安妮做的蛋糕。“哦！安妮！你在这蛋糕里放了些什么？”她叫道。
'Isn't it… isn't it alright? 'asked Anne, her face red.
“难道……难道不好吃吗？”安妮红着脸问。
'All right? It's horrible! Don't try to eat anymore, Mrs Allan, Anne, you have put my medicine in this cake!
“好吃？简直是难以下咽！阿伦太太，别再吃了。安妮，你把我的药放进蛋糕里了。
'I don't know！It was white, and in a bottle! I thought it was milk!' sobbed Anne. She ran
upstairs and feel on her bed, crying loudly.
“哦，我不知道!它是白色的，放在一个瓶子里！我以为是牛奶！”安妮边哭边说。她跑上楼，趴在床上大声哭了起来。
感悟：
小安妮，本来想尽心尽力地，做一个好吃的蛋糕，给牧师和她太太。
没想到却事与愿违。
她把玛丽拉的药，误放在了蛋糕里。
所以，小安妮伤心欲绝。
她觉得所有人，都会笑话她了。
但没有人会笑话她。
牧师太太还好心邀请小安妮去她家喝茶呢！
这或许就是纯朴的乡村生活，带给我们的感动吧。
谁没年轻过呢？
谁年轻的时候，不犯错呢？
