1. 除了指天气变好外，词组turn out还可以指“结果是，最后是”，它强调最后的状态或结果。比如：

What he had said turned out false.
他的话结果是假的。

I was positive things were going to turn out fine.
我确信事情最终会好起来的。

除了turn out以外，由turn组成的其他词组也经常出现，比如turn on, turn off, turn up 和turn down。

2. turn on的一个常见意思是“打开（设备）”。比如：
   turn on the radio
   打开收音机

3. turn off 的意思和turn on相反，指“关闭（设备）”。比如：
   turn off the light 关灯

4. 词组turn down 的常见意思是“关小；调低”。比如：
