A boy gets a lifetime pass to the San Francisco Zoo
“There’s a lemur(狐猴)!“ James Trinh shouted when he was heaving his school in Daly City.
Maki, the elderly lemur, ran from the school’s parking lot to the playground. The school called the police, who contacted animal control the zoo officials.
Maki was sent from the school back to the San Francisco Zoo, and Trinh received a lifetime membership to the zoo for helping the lemur return safely.
At 21 years old, Maki has illnesses like arthritis(关节炎)and requires special care, according to Tanya Peterson, the director of San Francisco Zoo. Peterson added that the lemur is “socially-distancing(保持社会距离) from his family”because of his travels, and that veterinarian teams are bringing the anxious and hungry Maki back to health.

Schools to incorporate resources of musemums into studies
The Ministry of Education and the National Cultural Heritage Administration co-released a document to guide better introduction of resoureces of museums into education at school.
According to the document, schools nationawide are encouraged to hold new activities about history, natural science, and technology, based on(基于) collections in local museums. And several different eductional goals will be set for students in different grades.
More extracurricular activities after 3:30 pm are encouraged to feature(以......为特色) museums. Not only guided tours, but also creative forms like lectures, role-play games, and comic books on museums are needed to make students interested.
“We’ve seen many good examples to make full use of museums as ‘classes’ in recent years.” Luo Jing, directory of museum and social relics department under the National Cultural Heritage Administration, said.
He also said the purpose of the new document is to develop new ways of making use of museums in school education. And the focus(重点) remains how to make students study better at school.
