世界上，有许许多多好的学校。虽然办学的理念各不相同，但是相同的是都在努力做直抵内心的教育。如果教育，只是冷冰冰的分数，那么学校的温度也会逼近零点。在冷酷的世界里，是无法培养拥有国际情怀的世界精英的！所以，华语外国语学校秉承“根深中华，美绽世界”的教育理念，一切的工作一定先从温暖人心开始。虽然，我们办学时间还不到一年，但是学校营造的“家一般的氛围”，让老师和孩子们深深依赖，以至于周末的时候，孩子们还会说：“好期待，能够快一点回来！”
There are many excellent schools in the world. Although their concepts of running the school are different, they do share the same idea that the school should conduct education that touches the students’ hearts. If the school concerns only about students’ scores, it cannot create a warm and inspiring atmosphere for the students. It is impossible to cultivate an elite world with an international view in a harsh environment! Therefore, China and America Foreign Language School adheres to the educational concept "rooted in China and blossomed for the world", and all of our work is people-oriented. Although we have been running the school for less than a year, there is a "home-like atmosphere" created by the teachers and children which blossoms throughout the school. At the end of the week, the children will say, "I'm looking forward to coming back soon!"
是什么牵挂着孩子们的内心？——是那操场上啾啾的鸟鸣吗？是那创客教室还没完成的乐高作品吗？还是图书馆里听了一半的故事？我想，每一个温暖的小瞬间，都可能吸引到孩子。

在华美，每一个孩子，我们都视若珍宝。又怎能忘记“生日”这个最温暖的日子呢？无论是老师还是学生，只要到了他生日的那一天，学校的电子屏幕上就会送出精美的电子贺卡，另外食堂大师傅还会特意制作一碗热腾腾的“长寿面”。记得有一次七年级的杨晗同学生日时，我还亲自画了一幅画送给她。真没想到，杨晗中午吃饭时竟然激动的对老师说：“我的这辈子，真的是好圆满啊！”老师听完哈哈大笑：“傻孩子，你的这辈子还长着呢！什么事情，让你这么激动啊？”杨晗一脸得意的说：“今天，周校长不但亲自给我画了一幅画，还和我握了手！我从来没有被老师这么重视过，好幸福！”
In China and America Foreign Language School, every child is very important to us so the school always remembers their birthday. On Yang Han’s birthday, I drew a picture for her by myself. To my surprise, Yang Han excitedly said to the teacher at noon, "My life is really complete!" Yang Han happily said, "Principle Zhou not only drew a picture for me personally but also shook hands with me today! I've never felt so valued by a teacher. I am so happy!"
还有一次，一年级的许怀泽小朋友过生日，正好遇到期中考试。为了给小学霸庆祝与众不同的生日，老师就买来两筒铅笔，然后摆成爱心的形状。大家一曲暖暖的生日歌之后，考试正式开始了。相信，这微不足道的小礼物，一定会让孩子，带着一点小感动去迎接考试。
Another time, when it was Xu Huaize’s birthday, it was the same day as the midterm exam. To celebrate a special birthday for the little studying master, the teacher bought two canisters of pencils and arranged them in the shape of a heart. After we sang “happy birthday”, the examination began. It is believed that this trivial gift will let the children embrace the exam with a better insight on life.
真正的教育是需要用心的。它需要你静静的观察每一个孩子的需求，然后在合适的时间给予帮助！真正的教育又是不刻意的，任何做作的表演，假装的关心，在孩子清澈的眼睛里都会不值一钱。
Real education can’t be done without dedicating our hearts and minds. It requires you to quietly observe each child's needs, and help them when they are in need! Real education is not deliberate. Any artificial performance and pretended care will be worth nothing in a child’s eyes.
记得有一次，我和一位教育戏剧老师讨论：“什么是教育戏剧，你能用一句简单的话，来阐述它的真谛吗？”她沉思片刻，意味深长的告诉我：“教育戏剧就是让老师通过戏剧的形式打开通向学生的情感通道，感情交融了，知识自然能够涌进来。”我恍然顿悟，其实无论是教育戏剧还是IB教育又或者是传统的双语教育，它们与孩子之间的联结不仅仅是一种教育方法，更重要的是情感。
I remember once having a discussion with an education drama teacher: "What is drama education? Can you use a simple sentence to define its true meaning? She pondered for a moment and told me significantly: "Drama education is to let the teacher open the emotional channel to students through in the form of drama, as the feelings are expressed so knowledge can flow in naturally. It dawned on me that whether it is drama education, IB education or traditional bilingual education, the connection between them and children is not only an educational method but more importantly, emotion.
于是，我们确信，一所好的学校，从温暖人心开始!确认过眼神，希望我们的努力能为孩子们留下美好甜蜜的回忆！
We believe that a good school should start from a warm heart! By understanding each other, we hope that our efforts for the children can leave them with good and sweet memories.
