as……as 句型

一、as……as 比较句型的本质

e.g. I am as old as you.

句型一：A+系动词+as1+形容词+as2+B

（编者注：为方便区分，第一个as以as1来表示，第二个as以as2表示）

1.两个as的词性不同

as1是副词，其后可以接形容词或其他副词

as2是连词，其后接从句

2.as2后边省略了成分

I am as old as you are old.

3.B具体用什么形式取决于比较的对象

比较对象可以是主语、宾语、状语等成分，B的形式可以是代词、名词、名词短语或介词短语等。

句型二：A+系动词+as1+形容词+as2+B+系动词+形容词

As2前后的形容词不同时，不省去其后从句中的形容词

e.g.This room is as wide as that room is long.

句型三：A+系动词+as1+形容词1+as2+B+系动词+形容词2

What a table!I've never seen such a thing before.It is not half as wide as it is long.
