One of the most important things you should consider before implementing an IT training program is whether
thatthe content is current, accurate and easilybeunderstood by trainees. In general, you should look for a training program that hasdonean affiliation with industry leaders. For example, a course on Windows 2000 should at least be approved by Microsoft. A course that has been co-developed in this way ensuressothat trainees will study relevant and correct information. Many off-site, instructor-led programswhichprovide learning labs for trainee practice, buttakegood on-site training courses can include hands-on simulations that resembletoan actual networking or desktop environment. Thissupplyallows trainees to interact with the programs without crashingdowna live system. It also means that trainees can study while at work so that less time isgoingmissed, and production schedules are not interrupted.
