版本A
For your information please be advised that arrears at present subsist on your mortgage account in the sum of $120,000, with a further payment becoming due on 2 July. In view of the account being a mortgage account, we are not in a position to stop payments being debited for six months, and in order to prevent the account situation from deteriorating, it is necessary that payments are received each month which represent at least the interest charged. At present this amount is $1000 and therefore if you find it necessary to discuss this matter at length, please do not hesitate to contact me at your earliest convenience.
版本B
Thank you for your letter of 12 June 200X regarding your loan repayments. I would like to explain the situation.
The balance owed on your mortgage is $120,000. The next payment is due on 2 July. Unfortunately, you cannot stop payments for six months.
Therefore, to prevent the balance increasing, please pay at least the interest each month. At present, this is $1000.
If you would like to visit our office to discuss your financial situation, please call me on 234-5678.
I hope this information is helpful.

If you want your writing to meet your reader's expectations and get results, your reader needs to
understand your document easily and correctly
respond to your document appropriately.
To find out how to achieve this every time you write, go to the next screen.
Many writers think they are "bad" writers because their writing doesn't look "good" after their first attempt.
But, most first attempts at writing are "not good". This doesn't mean that most writers are bad. A first attempt is just one part of a process that, in the end, produces a "good" document.
To meet their readers' expectations and get the results they want, most good writers follow a five-stage process.
This process is called the Writing Process.
