Photographer Removes Phones From His Photos

American photographer Eric Pickersgill photoshopped away the smartphones and digital devices from his portraits of everyday life. The project “Removed” aims to show our addiction to modern technology, social media, and hyper-connectivity. The photographer was inspired by a chance encounter in a New York cafe. “Family sitting next to me at Illium café in Troy, NY is so disconnected from one another,” Pickersgill writes in his notes from that day. 这位摄影师是在纽约一家咖啡馆偶然遇到的。Pickersgill在那天的笔记中写道：“在纽约特洛伊的Illium咖啡馆，坐在我旁边的家人彼此之间是如此的隔绝。”
