I believe that people have a right to live a different life, so it's hard to identify what kind of life is meaningful. Some may think they cherish their family and want to be a good parent for the rest of their lives, while others may have a totally opposite view about what a meaningful, successful life may be. For instance, one of my colleagues always takes his career as the most important part of his life and almost makes himself a workaholic. What I can say, we can't blame people for living with different dreams or even a strange purpose which we may never understand. Therefore, we should learn how to respect the diversity between people with values in common and others whose cultural backgrounds are very unique. In short, I'm not going to motivate people to pursue a meaningful life identified by mainstream culture because it's an option. However, we should never forget that life is a one-way ticket for all of us and work hard to become the person you want to be without regret.
