1.recipe
a way of doing something that will produce a particular result
Example：Ambition without action is a recipe for failure.
2.parallel
a person or thing that is similar to another
Example：There are many striking parallels between Shanghai and New York City.
3.cause
a reason for having particular feelings or behaving in a particular way
Example：High unemployment rates are cause for worry.
4.panacea
something that people think will make everything better and solve all their problems
Example：There is no panacea for America's immigrate problems.
5.sway(n.)
power to rule or influence people
Example：Some old attitudes still hold sway in rural areas.
6.invite
to do something that makes something bad or unpleasant more likely to happen
Example：Your reckless acts will invite nothing but ridicule.
