葬礼
燃烧的松枝
松香弥漫
光影中
映出你的笑脸
从未有过的璀璨
你跨过那道门槛
为永恒之旅
整理行装
在祂面前要明净超脱
你坚持着说
松枝燃尽
幽香，藕断丝连般
若有若无
光影舞动
摇晃了心的倒影
你微笑
借着那只有你看得见的光
踏出了第一步，
第二步，第三步
回头
你不知道他们为何如此忙碌
忙碌着添加
添加松枝去呵护那点脆弱的光影
忙碌着擦拭
擦拭那足以扑灭火苗的泪流

The Funeral
The pine branches were burning
With a sweet fragrance.
Your face had never been so brilliant
In the light of the fire.
You stepped out of the door
And readied yourself before your eternal journey.
“In front of Him, I shall be pure and detached,”
You insisted.
The pine branches almost finished burning,
But the fragrance lingered
Like the fibers of broken lotus root held together.
As the light of the fire moved and danced,
So did the shadow of the heart.
You smiled and stepped forward
In the light that only you could see.
First, one step; then two more.
Then you looked back.
You could not understand
Why they were so busy;
Busy adding pine branches
To keep the delicate light going;
Busy wiping their tears
That could put out the faint glow.

后记：
有一位学员的妈妈前天晚上去世了。她昨天凌晨在群里发了一条信息，说自己在给妈妈守灵，看着香火快烧完及时补上。我们都为她妈妈祈祷，愿她能够升入天堂。
昨天吃午饭的时候，学员说的画面又跑了出来，立即又放下饭碗，写了这首诗。
死亡之后会是怎样，一直是我们人类的终极问题。我并不能描绘那种情形，但是我相信，死后不是什么都没有，而是一种更高级别的进化。我对死亡的理解已经在诗句里。
我先写了中文，再翻译成英文，再修改中文，最后让先生做了编辑。
