Leonard鼓起勇气再次约Penny，Penny答应了，然后很紧张地准备服装。席间Leonard提出复合，Penny表示犹豫，因为两人一谈话就出岔子，结果不欢而散。没想到晚上Penny悄悄发短信叫他出门，并拉他过去过夜。事后Leonard问清Penny的犹豫是因为怕又不成，于是提议先秘密进行，暂不公开。悄悄回屋的Leonard被Sheldon撞见，逼问了半天他只好承认去加油站上厕所了，Sheldon还给他两块钱逼着他去加油站买东西算是交代。
第二天大家在Penny餐厅，两人装没成装到几乎吵架，晚上Penny又召唤Leonard了，Leonard说自己做梦总是结局不好，Penny也做梦了，梦见自己大着肚子和Leonard举行婚礼……赶紧在去约会前买了药。

Amy问Bernadette
How's it going in there? 衣服试得怎么样了
Bernadette无言以对只好喊Penny
You know Leonard's always been crazy about you. 你知道Leonard一直都很喜欢你

Leonard对于Sheldon提起他妈很奇怪

Bernadette说
Sometimes these things just don't work out. 有些人就是不适合在一起
Penny说
