【摘要】“意识流”（stream of consciousness）一词，这是威廉·詹姆斯（美国著名的功能主义心理学家）创造的，最初用来说明意识本身的流动特性。意识流的延伸规则是通过内部的独白、蒙太奇和自由联想，以每一个回合和系统的方式，展示文学作品中内心世界意识的流动状态。意识流的创意，标志着整个文学作品的创作步入了新时代。此后，特别是在20世纪西方现代主义文学中，许多作品逐渐开始使用意识流。现在，以意识流为代表的文学作品是世界文学的重要领域除了最常见的小说外，他们也反映在诗歌和喜剧中。

Abstract：The term stream of consciousness was coined by William James (a famous American functionalist psychologist) and was originally used to explain the flow characteristics of consciousness itself. The extension rule of consciousness flow is to show the flow state of inner world consciousness in literary works in a systematic way through internal monologue, montage and free association. The creation of stream of consciousness marks that the creation of the whole literary works has entered a new era. Since then, especially in the 20th century western modernist literature, many works gradually began to use stream of consciousness. Nowadays, the literature represented by stream of consciousness is an important field of world literature. Besides the most common novels, they are also reflected in poetry and comedy.
