Art in Style

When it comes to the word art, many would say that it is to do with painting or the physical arts, like dancing and choreography or even the sounding arts, like playing an instrument or singing. But I have a different take on the arts. Recently I created a website on WIX.com. Here is the link.

    https://harrys170.wixsite.com/thistookforever

It was one of the articles I posted. The Lego Story. I want to use that website as an example. It’s very basic, but still, you may say art. It is art. The Google definition and many person definitions are…

    1. The expression or application of human creative skill and imagination, typically in a visual form such as painting or sculpture, producing works to be appreciated primarily for their beauty or emotional power.

    2. The various branches of creative activity, such as painting, music, literature, and dance.

Both of them have the implementation of physical, sounds and visual arts. As I said my take on it is a little bit different. I play a musical instrument and I do some drawings here and there, but with these simple activities, I noticed a pattern that really stood out to me. With everything that humans do, it requires three main things.

    1. Reason

The reason you do it. When you do something, there is always a reason for it. Always.

    2. Motivation

The reason or something why you do it. The something that pushes you to keep going even when you can't. Whether it's just because you want to stop the pain in your stomach and getting food is the solution. Pain is your motivation.

    3. Result

After you know why you want it and what makes you want it, you always look at the outcome, the result. If the outcome is a win-win, then you will do it. If the outcome is a win-lose, then you will do it. If the outcome is a lose-lose, then you won't even consider it.

Now my example, the website. The pattern that I noticed when doing these activities, especially in the arts, is that you can clearly see your three points of doing that task. This makes the arts and everything you do just that much complicated (in a good way) and interesting. It gives your task much more to learn from.

The reason this is such a help is that you actually can evaluate your efficiency on the tas and your performance. If the task is worth doing again and if it was worth your time. Now some people might just say,

'Wow! This is a great evaluation and tool!'

'This task doesn't give me enough money, I won't do it again,'

This is a foolish way of reflecting on yourself and it would be much better if you didn't evaluate. You must go through the points in order. The result is not always the answer to the problem. It can be, but running through the previous points are always the logical and correct way to go.

Using this method of reflecting on tasks, I find it very successful and I can find out what I get out of the task. The experience, the fun, or the money.

    https://harrys170.wixsite.com/thistookforever
