    张芳,山东潍坊人,笔名伶韵,国家一级美术师,毕业于山大美术系,进修于西安美院,是当代山水名家,李侃的大弟子,2019年荣获改革开放40周年领军人物称号,现就读于北京人民艺术大学,其工笔画受过宗万华的指点,画面栩栩如生,仪态万千。书法师承当代书法大家张寿石,所作山水更是笔精墨妙,清和雅逸,成为长安画派的杰出代表。

    Zhang Fang:  calligrapher and painter, born in Weifang,Shandong, Pen name Lingyun, national level-I artist, graduated from Fine ArtsDepartment of Shandong University, received further education in Xian Academyof Fine Arts, student of Mr. Likan, one famous modern landscape painter, in2019, won the title of leading figure of 40thanniversary of reform& opening up of the country, currently studying in Beijing People’s ArtsUniversity, her elaborate-style painting was guided by Mr. Zong Wanhua, thepainting picture is true to life with distinguished air of elegance and coquetry.Mr. Zhang Shoushi, modern calligraphy master is her tutor. Zhangfang now boastsan outstanding representative of Changan Painting school due to the essence ofpen ink and gorgeous elegance in her landscape works.

    画者载也,借形造象,以象传神,神者思想,意识情感之谓也。画中有诗,诗中有画,诗书画融通互涵。中国文化艺术博大精神乃世无论比!国画更是如此,非饱学之士难以入境,大多数人照猫画虎,徒写外形,最终只是一个低级的画工而已。学画须知功在画外,要想气质变化境界提升,就得多读书,多练习书法,要想下笔有由,需要多观察生活,体味人生,行万里路,练就心手相应的表现技法,艺术是意识形态的领域,一个画家最终能走多远,取决于思想境界与文化底蕴的高低。

    Painting is thecarrier of meanings, it creates images by shapes, expresses touches by images,it is therefore regarded as the thoughts, consciousness and emotions of thepainter. There is poem in paint, and paint in the poem, poem, calligraphy andpainting are mutually blending. The broad and profound spirit of China cultureand arts are incomparable in today’s world, so does Chinese painting, it isdifficult for a non-erudite person to enter the field, most people can onlydraw the outlines and become a low-level commercial painter finally. What countsin learning drawing is the capabilities out of painting, to read more books,practise more calligraphy are the only means to change temperament and enhancerealm. To be able to expand painting sources requires more observations andexperiences over life, only in this way, skillful expression techniques can betrained and acquired. Arts belong to ideological domain, a painter’saccomplishment is decided by his(her) ideological level and cultural deposit.

    中国的山水画是写出来的,并不是画出来的,象形就可以了。

    Chinese landscapepainting is created not by drawing but writing up, it would be good enough tobe pictographic.

    我们首先要有一个高深的理念才行,一副好的作品从构图到完工,需要掌握更多的知识,整个画面不仅构图完美,还要懂得风水里面,画面需展现出聚宝盆,财源滚滚等,这些对应中国传统理念的东西,特别是大的作品,画不出风水效果,让人观之无味,构图再唯美,笔法也要到位,保证每根线条必须是骨法用笔,书法用笔,线条的质量至关重要,线条太实,就会太死板,枯笔淡墨方显功底,中国的山水画每根线条,拆出来都是书法的笔画,而不是随意下笔,需要我们练好书法,书法不过关,画永远高不上去,枯笔淡墨会让画面清和雅逸,让人观之如沐春风,而不是大片泼墨。

    It is highlysignificant for us to have a deeply philosophy first, a good works requiresquite a lot of knowledge from layout to completion, the entire picture requiresnot only perfect structure but also Fengshui concept, treasure bowl must bedisplayed in the picture to symbolize the profits pouring in from all sides,etc., the above are all something coming from Chinese tradition concepts, forsome big works, it will be meaningless without Fengshui effect. Brushwork playsa key role in making sure to create an aesthetic structure, the quality ofbrushwork lines is crucial, too solid lines will look too stiff, it is a mustto keep every line to be bone lines and calligraphic line, dry pen and lightink are the only way to demonstrate the essentials of basic training, each linein Chinese landscape paintings can be taken apart as the strict strokes fromcalligraphy, calligraphy therefore is of great importance in painting works,the dry pen and light ink make the picture clean and elegant, audiences willfeel as if breathing in fresh air, while the large splash-ink never does so.

    我们应该懂得墨分五色,上世纪大家的作品,笔墨层次特别多,他们懂得如何破墨、吮墨,继而能做到浓破淡,淡破浓,色破墨,湿画更是让画面,如行云流水,仪态万千,一副高水平的山水画,画出来的是一种精神,意境悠远,耐人寻味。

    We should be awarethat Chinese ink is divided into 5 colors, the painting masters in last centuryknew how to perfectly grasp the ink-application techniques in theirmasterpieces. The wet painting makes the picture appear like floating cloud andmoving stream with all shapes of deportment. One high-level landscape paintingshows a kind of spirit with a profound artistic conception, affording forthoughts.

    墨色把握不好,必然导致画面墨色不全,毫无生机,笔墨层次远远不够,出现有墨无笔,或者是有笔无墨,墨色层次到了,颜色自然就出来了,但凡高画必然是,既要笔墨,又要颜色,玩的是真正的笔墨文化。

    Poor skill in inkcolor will certainly result in incomplete ink color in the picture, lackingvitality. It is insufficient to have ink layers only, colors will naturallyappear when ink layers are in place. All high-level paintings are inevitablyexcellent in both ink and color, the key is the combination of ink and color.

    中国的国画离不开水,水的运用至关重要,多则滥,少则干。上世纪大家黄宾虹,每根线条都是拿水润开的,所以不会给人燥画的感觉。下笔要稳准狠,线条要有变化,不能太干也不能太湿,要画出意境,画出空灵,画出清和雅逸,每笔下去要有笔轴,要有形,上色亦是如此。山水画大部分是中锋用笔,笔笔回锋,勿要虎头蛇尾,保证每根线条涩辣前行,画树应该腰要弯,头要偏,松针涩辣在云巅。

    Chinese paintingsalways involve water, it is vital to use water in painting, too much watercauses excessiveness, too less water becomes dry. Master Huang Binhong in lastcentury, each line in his paintings were smoothened by water, therefore showedno feeling of dry. All the lines must be steadily, accurately and resolutelypainted and cannot be either too dry or too wet, so as to paint with theresults of artistic conception, intangibility and elegance. Each stroke musthave its datum and shape, so does coloring. Most landscape paintings requireforce in the center of each stroke, must make sure the end of each strokeremain the same force as the start. The waist of tree must be bend and its topmust be leaning when painting a tree.

    一个不注重书法的画家,是必定走不远的,山水小写意画与工笔不同,是讲究章法的,而不是乱画。没有一个高的理念,画作永远上不去。一幅好的山水画,画面有虚有实,有远有近,清和雅逸,意境悠远,笔墨齐全,下笔之精准,缺一不可。

    A painter pays noattention to calligraphy will not reach high standard in his(her)works.Landscape painting free sketch differs from fine brushwork, it stresses art ofcomposition and is far from graffito. A painter’s works will never rise withouta high philosophy of art. A good landscape painting must be equipped with bothvirtual and reality pictures, distance and vicinity feelings and accurate inkstrokes, only in this way, clear and elegant artistic conception can becreated.

    整个画面要让欣赏者看到画家的激情,感情,打动不了自己的作品,更是打动不了别人。当一幅作品出炉,不舍得售出的时候,必是画家的精品,因为画家投入了太多,信手涂鸦,或是酒后涂鸦,只能是搬石头砸自己的脚。

    The entire pictureof the painting must allow appreciators to feel painter’s passion and emotion,only the works touches yourself first can possibly touch others. Painters arealways reluctant to sell those quality works done by themselves after puttingtoo many efforts into. Those poor quality handwriting style paintings ordrunken graffito will only ruin the painters’ fame and reputation.

    我从不画应酬画,画作从不轻易送人,所有画作均是心血之渗漏,感情与激情的碰撞。树是山的根,诗是画的魂,每幅作品,基本都是我自己写的诗。学习诗文,练习书法,增强笔功。绘画是做学问,要深知画外文化的重要性,万变浓妆不如翰墨修身,腹有诗书气自华,雅俗共赏画天下。

    I never paint forsome social engagements, never give my works easily and readily, all my worksare the leakages of my heart blood, the collision of emotion and passion. Iwrote poems for all my works by myself for I believe that trees are the root ofmountains and poems are the soul of paintings. To study poems and practisecalligraphy will enhance my painting achievements. Painting is a kind ofscholarship engagement, must deeply understand the significance of the culturebeyond painting. Painting builds body more than heavy makeup, poem books bringpeople magnificent temperament, by that means, painters are able to paint allkinds of paints to suit both refined and popular tastes.

    何人欣赏国画

    Who appreciatesChinese paintings?

    艺术绘画走到今天,已经进入了多元化,大小的画家对应着各个层次的欣赏者,包括世界各地的欣赏者,所以我们眼光不能太传统,要对应各个民族,各个国家的欣赏者。让中西方文化互相交融,画家永远是为世界各地的精神贵族服务。他们拥有良好的文化基础,与雄厚的经济实力,国内人士更是深知国画的内涵,懂书法,笔法,古哲学等。不是所有的人都能懂国画,欣赏国画,拥有国画,国画已经成为一种身份的象征。

    Today’s artisticpainting has been diversified in terms of hierarchical fans of various groupsand levels from all over the world, it is improper to keep traditional insightalways but correspond to the fans from various nations and states. It ispainters’ responsibilities to let the cultures between China and the Western mutuallyblend and serve the spiritual nobles with excellent cultural foundations andabundant economic strength all over the world always. Native Chinese willunderstand the connotation of painting, calligraphy, brushwork and ancientphilosophy more deeply. To understand, appreciate and own Chinese paintingworks will make people distinctive from others, Chinese painting has alreadybecome a symbol of status rank.

    所有的成功人士,无一例外的喜欢国画,或俗或雅,画家是在对应各个品味的欣赏者。中西文化差异很大,欧美国家的人喜欢颜色亮丽,形态逼真的工笔写生画,中国人则讲究清和雅逸,更加注重笔墨文化。

    Chinese paintingsare cherished by all the high-end personnel without exception, either common orelegant, painters shall be able to deal with the appreciators of varioustastes. Cultural differences between China and Western countries are huge,Westerners prefer shining colors, therefore drawings of loving object withverisimilar form are more popular for westerns, while Chinese people pay moreattention to ink and brushwork culture, stressing more on pure clean andelegance feelings.

    What are painters?

    艺术进入了多元化,八大山人的画再昂贵,也只适合收藏,吾辈当做一些既有收藏意义,又有欣赏意义的作品才是。

    Arts becomediversified nowadays, however expensive the painting works of some top painters’is, such as “Badashanren”, those are only suitable for collecting, the missionfor painters like us will be creating some works of the significance of bothcollecting and appreciating.

    当今的画家分三个层次,一个是以政治为背景的画家,一个是以中美协为主体的画家,再就是以真正的造诣与功底谋生的画家。无论身份如何,都应以作品说话,所有画家的作品,被社会承认,被欣赏者购买,才是最终的意义。

    Current painterscan be divided into 3 categories, one are those with political backgrounds,then are those with memberships of China Painters Association, the rest are thepainters who make a living by real attainments and foundation of painting. Theworks talks whatever the painters’ status are, the ultimate importance will bewhether he painters’ works be recognized by society and purchased byappreciators or not.

    画家是社会的宠物,作品不被社会承认,无人买单,不叫画家,以画作为事业,并且养活自己和家人的画者,才叫画家。没有卖不了的画,只有画不好的画,无论境界多高皆如此。如果每个画家都是“和诗三十愁千万”,必定无法创作绝美的作品。

    Painters are thepet of society, they cannot be called painters until their works are recognizedby society and purchased. Only those make a living and raise the family bypainting professionally can be called painters. The paintings can always gettheir works sold unless they are well done. The painters can only createsplendid works when they are peaceful in mind.
