The last two day weekend was exhausting.
Maomao huddled in to my bed and the two kids just went too comfortable while sleeping. They spread their arms and legs widely which meant basically not space for me in a tiny bed. So I slept horribly on Saturday night, which was the main cause for the feeling tiredness. To Ensure myself a good night sleep is obviously vital.
Maomao had tennis and PE lessons on Saturday morning. Kang insisted on going with us, and that meant a lot of work! This two year old rushed into the tennis court, wandered in the whole gym, and kept asking me to go the toilet with him. What’s worse, he got impatient about the waiting and asked to leave in the middle of the lesson. I had to spend lots of time looking after him. Maybe I should just stop taking him to his brother’s lessons.
Afterwards, lunch in Mao’s favorite cafe. Mao ordered sandwiches and a bread, Kang wanted spaghetti. Afterwards, the kids were ready to take a nap. They played around for almost an hour before falling asleep.
I had an online meeting from 7 to 9 pm. It was 11 pm after I helped the kids wash up and put them to bed.
Sunday was not any easier. Boya had a sore ankle and I had to take the kids to the movie. Though they were very cooperative, I was a bit unhappy and anxious. We were a bit late and also walked to the wrong entrance of the theatre. Afterwards, a quick lunch at pizza hut, afterwards, we walked home. Another projected awaited for me: the weekend routine—bath the kids. It meant getting the bathtub ready, bathing them, doing a load of laundry. After these, it was almost 4, and it was the end of this weekend’s to do list.
After enjoying dinner, we sat down to read and write, and embraced a night’s sleep.
