此外，疾控中心建议，任何有新冠肺炎症状的人在公共场合都应该戴上口罩，并立即接受检测。新冠肺炎检测呈阳性的个人应继续隔离至少五天，并再戴上口罩五天。

Yesterday, the CDC released updated guidance stating that individuals who have had a known exposure to someone with COVID-19 no longer need to quarantine but should wear a tight-fitting mask for 10 days while in public and take a COVID test five days after the known exposure.

In addition, the CDC recommends that anyone with COVID-19 symptoms should wear a mask when in public and get tested immediately. Individuals who test positive for COVID-19 should continue to isolate for at least five days and wear a mask for an additional five days.

It is also still important to get vaccinated and boosted against COVID, as it significantly lowers your chance of severe illness, hospitalization, and death. As a reminder, COVID vaccinations are now available for all individuals ages six months and older.
