This is a to-be-or-not-to-be life-or-death moment for a horror-struck antelope. A cat-like animal is flinging itself at the poor creature. Many may mistake the "large cat” for a leopard, but two distinct tear-like streaks running all the way from the corner of its eyes down to the mouth and numerous round black spots all over the body reveal its truth identity as a cheetah. Its luck for the antelope has everything to do with its high speed with a maximum of 112km/h, thanks to the ingenious biological design by the nature. Long limbs consist of fast twitch fiber, slender body and a small flat head with tiny triangle ears are a perfect configuration in aerodynamics while the long tail perked up in the chase serve as a rudder to seek balance.
