读莎翁的诗，愈加佩服朱生豪先生

“三日不读书面目可憎”，我平日里忙于工作，下班只会打游混，除了弹弹琴，锻炼身体，其余几乎啥也不想干。周末的清晨我掐指一算，自己的面目应该已经算是非常可憎了，于是赶紧翻开以前背诵过的中英文诗歌，洗涤一下灵魂，没想到竟一发不可收拾，一上午都沉浸其中。

比如莎翁的十四行诗，我以前也附庸风雅地背过，其中sonnet18可以说是精品中的精品，知名度很高。但毕竟和现代英文有所差异，未免不能完全领略其中的真意，好在有朱生豪先生的译文供参考：

Sonnet 18

Shall I compare thee to a summer's day?

Thou art more lovely and more temperate;

Rough winds do shake the darling buds of May,

And summer's lease hath all too short a date;

Sometime too hot the eye of heaven shines,

And often is his gold complexion dimmed;

By chance or nature's changing course untrimmed. 

But thy eternal summer shall not fade,

Nor lose possession of that fair thou ow'st,

Nor shall death brag thou wand'rest in his shade,

朱先生的译文即使单独看也可以视为文学佳作，遣词造句精炼考究，读来朗朗上口，直摄诗魂。
