When I was a child, life was colorful because playing all day long composes its entirety, and I could always find a way entertaining myself. As I grew older, study occupied my life and I know it's the shortcut to comfort my parents and also the only way to change my fate. So I was a good student in all my study years.
After graduation from college, it means the almost two decades of campus life ended. Though I proved to be good at the competitive studying career in campus, the future professional career was still a question.
Today after more than 4 years' professional life, I suddenly find that I has continually confused life, study and work. I still consider myself a student striving for grade A in exams and I treat the office as examination room. I falsely think work should be full of fierce competition and hard work can be reflected exactly as scores in exams. I hold too much passions and expectations on my work ignoring the fact that my social relations become more complicated now. I am no more a student caring only study because I also act as a wife, mother, daughter-in-law and daughter.
Two days ago, I went back to my hometown-a small county in Henan province. People living there are wise enough to seperate life and work. They don't have high expectations on work and work there can be comfortable and relaxed. It reminds me of my office where the promotion rule is different with the rule in school. Yes, there are various ways of work which shall be dealt with differently.
Work can be changed but study and life must continue through my entire years. Thinking of this, many negative feelings about my present work release automatically by themselves. I still hold passions for work, and meanwhile I know not all work are the same and I know what is the most important thing: study and life. Or I can only say it's life since work and study aim to serve my life and make it less dull and more worth living.
